Jun. 14--Damon Auguste's rape and sodomy conviction was overturned three years ago. But the ripples from that case have resulted in one lawsuit against a Santa Clara County prosecutor and may yet spawn another -- this time against former District Attorney George Kennedy.
The legal machinations stretch from Hedding Street to Denver, where a 3 1/2-year-old lawsuit filed by Auguste's aunt against Santa Clara County Deputy District Attorney Benjamin Field is grinding its way through federal courts.
