Jun. 14--Garry DeVictor has lived in his Bexley house for 36 years, but some new residents out on his lawn are driving him nuts.
Chipmunks have dug a hole bigger than a baseball in his front yard, and his efforts to get rid of the rodents have ended up like something out of Caddyshack. When DeVictor put a garden hose in the hole to flush them out, the water ended up in his basement.
The chipmunks chewed up the electrical system for his hot tub, causing more than $2,000 in damage, and their burrows forced DeVictor to rebrick the patio behind his N. Stanwood Road home.
