Digital ad insertion became a reality at various cable sites this year, and for 1995 more and more MSOs and major interconnects are budgeting to take the plunge and invest in the cutting-edge gear.
"If you judge by the customers coming by our offices here, and visiting our sites, it's going to be a great year," said Bill Styslinger, president and CEO of Concord, Mass.-based SeaChange Technology, one of the digital ad vendors. "And we have a large backlog going into 1995."
