Jun. 15--So what's the big deal about Johnny Miller shooting a 63.
Haven't we all? Some of us reach 63 around the 11th or 12th hole. Others take a little longer.
The big deal? Miller shot his 63 in the final round of a major -- the 1973 U.S. Open -- and it's doubtful that will ever be done again. Especially so at Oakmont Golf Course, where Miller shot his 63 and where the 2007 U.S. Open is being played.
