CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - Chattanooga General Pension Fund hired Atalanta Sosnoff Capital to run $24 million in active domestic large-cap growth equities, confirmed Sharon Lea, pension technician. Partial funding will come from Ark Asset Management, which ran $16 million in a similar-style portfolio for the $240 million pension fund and was terminated earlier this year, according to minutes from the fund's March 28 meeting. The remaining $8 million will come from a general redistribution. Consulting Services Group assisted.
