Jun. 16--OELWEIN -- It started off right and eventually broke back to the left.
The putt broke back to the right again and picked up speed as it hit the slope before rolling off the green and into the bunker.
This wasn't a description of an Oakmont Country Club green humbling a seasoned PGA golfer this week during the U.S. Open. Rather, it was the Hickory Grove Golf Course greens that humbled a pair of Courier sports writers this week.
