The organizations filing copyright suits against Google and YouTube are increasing. The most highly publicized suit is the $1 billion one initiated by Viacom. There's also the less well known suit filed by Britain's Football Association Premier League Limited and music publisher Bourne.
Now, Cherry Lane Music Publishing, Federation Francaise de Tennis (FFT) and Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) have joined the copyright infringement class action claims filed by the Premier League and Bourne.
The lead plaintiffs and their counsel say they have been contacted by a large number of copyright holders about joining the suit since they filed it.
