Jun. 18--Riders on personal watercraft and motorboats paused on the Maumee River yesterday to listen to the sounds emanating from International Park, where the 2007 Art Tatum Jazz Heritage Festival was in full swing.
Earl Polk has traveled to Toledo for the festival from Pontiac, Mich., for the last four years.
He loves it because he has the opportunity listen to performers in Toledo he cannot hear anywhere else.
"It's fantastic, man," he mused.
