One of the most important themes in African diaspora historiography is the Yoruba diaspora. Although the subject of the Yoruba has generated an impressive list of academic publications over the years, we are still a long way from a full understanding of the Yoruba dimension of the African diaspora in the Atlantic world. This study is a welcome contribution to this academic effort. The editors must be commended for this impressive volume.
