Jenny Craig International, Inc. is the target of a lawsuit and formal complaints filed on behalf of eight men who worked for the weight-loss chain in Massachusetts.
Self-dubbed the "Boston Eight," their allegations include sexual harassment, wrongful termination and gender bias by female co-workers and supervisors of the Del Mar-based company.
The men say they were passed over for promotions, subjected to incessant "girl talk" or asked to do tasks their female counterparts were not, like fix the boss' car.
A lawsuit, which is now in municipal court in Middlesex, Mass., has been filed on behalf of five men after being remanded there by a federal court, ...
