Jun. 20--Brett Hull is leaving NBC and will take a new position within the Stars organization.
NBC Sports spokesman Brian Walker confirmed that Hull is leaving the network after one season as a studio analyst, and Stars general manager Doug Armstrong confirmed that Hull will be taking on more responsibility with the Stars in an as-yet-to-be-determined position.
Hull last season served as assistant to Stars president Jim Lites and was used mainly in a marketing role with the title "Ambassador of Fun" in the team's primary advertising campaign. Hull also stepped into the broadcast booth, filling in as an analyst when Daryl Reaugh was working with ...
