National Iranian Copper Industries Company (Nicico) has issued a tender to increase its lime burning capacity before embarking on a major expansion of copper production.
A prequalification notice has been issued for two lime shaft kilns of 250 tonnes a day (t/d) each at the Sarcheshmeh plant. The company is preparing tender documents to raise total copper ore production to 2,500 t/d.
