A few years back, American Express asked Michael Eisner, the high-profile chairman and chief executive officer of the Walt Disney Co., to star in one of its "Do You Know Me?" commercials. Eisner refused, saying his face was too familiar. Roy Disney, Jr., Walt's nephew, stood in for him.
