ST. PAUL--With the introduction of O-Cel-O StayFresh sponges, 3M's Home & Commercial Care Division hopes to clean up breeding grounds for germs and bacteria.
The temperatures and leftover food have provided ideal reproduction areas in dish cloths, wipes and sponges for unpleasant and unhealthy micro-organisms.
3M is out to change that with its new product, featuring an anti-microbial technology that kills germs and their odors in the sponge through repeated use.
