After getting a sense of the Manny Fernandez trade market the past few weeks, Wild General Manager Doug Risebrough made one thing clear Monday: He's not just going to give the goalie away.
There's a perception that Risebrough is desperate to trade Fernandez and his $4.33 million salary cap hit by this weekend's draft, which means teams in need of a goaltender are coming to Risebrough looking for a bargain-basement price.
But Risebrough reiterated Monday he's willing to start next season with $7.43 million locked up in Fernandez and recently signed Niklas Backstrom if he's not offered full value for an asset ...
