Jun. 21--The first car won't be delivered until later this year at the earliest, yet the price has been raised by $6,000.
Of course, those ready, willing and able to spend $98,000 now to be the first on their block to tool around in a Tesla Roadster aren't going to let $6,000 stop them.
Tesla is the two-seater that promises to slap you back in your seat for the four-second, zero-to-60 m.p.h. burst. It also boasts a top speed of 130 m.p.h., performance numbers that make sports-car enthusiasts drool.
