BOISE, Idaho--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 21, 1995--MK Gold Co. announced today that its board of directors elected Robert V. Hansberger to the position of chairman of the board of directors.
Hansberger has served on the MK Gold board since the initial public offering in December of 1993. Hansberger took charge of Boise Payette Lumber Co., which he then guided into what is now known as Boise Cascade Corp. He served as president and chief executive officer of that company until 1972 when he left to devote full-time attention to Futura Corp., a diversified enterprise with operations throughout the western United States.
