Jun. 22--With Shinnecock's waters on one side and the Atlantic dunes on the other, 19 real estate agents from Florida's Palm Beach ate a poolside breakfast catered yesterday at a Southampton estate for sale.
It's the sort of place where if you have to ask about the price -- $5 million -- you probably can't afford it or its annual tax bill. "The taxes are $50,000," Tim Davis, the seller's agent, told the guests.
