Russia's car producer AvtoVAZ and titanium monopoly VSMPO-Avisma, controlled by Rosoboronexport, are to set up an electricity supply joint venture with the Itera oil and gas company.
"We have certain energy assets at AvtoVAZ and VSMPO. We would also like to build power plants for generating more electricity, as we will enlarge AvtoVAZ [with one or several plants] and VSMPO. That will require larger energy supplies," Rosoboronexport head Sergei Chemezov said.
