Jun. 22--New Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center Director Dr. Scot C. Remick met the public Thursday with a $50 million commitment from officials and private donors that was dubbed "The Remick Plan."
"We are confident that he will take the cancer center to a national level," WVU President David C. Hardesty Jr. said at a press conference preceding Remick's delivery of the Jean and Laurence DeLynn Lecture on Thursday afternoon.
The financial backing will help Remick realize his goals further, Hardesty said.
