Jun. 22--Norma Barber spends a lot of her time nowadays looking out her front window watching five baby redbirds that have hatched in a nest built in a wreath on her front door. She first noticed the nest nestled in a colorful floral wreath on June 10 when she returned from vacation. The nest had five eggs -- two blue and three tan with specks.

She thinks the birds were attracted to the 24-inch grapevine type of wreath that is filled with roses and big yellow flowers as well as sheer fabric wrapped around it and yellow, green and red streamers coming out of it. Since the eggs hatched June 14, she has made sure no one uses ...
