Efforts are being done to save the dying Philippine film industry, and recently stakeholders came together for a press briefing about the industry's current status and to stress that a development plan is what's needed to ensure it's survival.
The press briefing, held at Newsdesk Cafe along Sct. Tobias corner Sct. Tobias Sts. in Quezon City, was attended by representatives from the Film Academy of the Philippines (Leo Martinez), Director's Guild of the Philippines (Carlitos Siguion Reyna), Nagkakaisang Manggagawa ng Pelikulang Pilipino, and Independent Filmmakers Cooperative.
