Jun. 24--Teenagers can get up close and personal with California condors in a program offered in August by the Ventana Wildlife Society.
The society's Condor Wilderness Camp for Teens for 13- to 18-year-olds runs Aug. 13-17 and Aug. 20-24, said Ventana Wildlife executive director Kelly Sorenson.
Campers will spend a day and a night on the coast before traveling to the back country of Big Sur to see the society's condor wildlife introduction program, Sorenson said.
