Jun. 24--Victoria's Trevor Vega and El Campo's Kyle Janssen picked up victories this week on the junior golf tour. Vega won the boys 12-13 age division at the Southern Texas PGA's Corpus Christi-area event at Northshore Country Club, while Janssen won the boys 16-18 division at the Houston Golf Association's event played at Atacocita Country Club in Humble.
Vega carded an 82 for a two-shot victory over Kevin Smith of Corpus Christi, while Janssen fired a 74 for a three-shot win over Jack Swanson of Houston.
El Campo's Christopher Quinn tied for 12th in the boys 14-15 division with an 82 at Atascocita Country Club, while ...
