According to anba: Exports from the midwestern Brazilian state of Mato Grosso recorded an 8,83% increase in the accumulated result until May 2007, compared with the same period of 2006. The figure points to a recovery from the negative rates recorded until March this year. The state of Mato Grosso accounted for 54% of exports from the midwest region, exporta??es da regi?o, maintaining its position as the 10th largest exporting state in the country.
