Jun. 24--CHARLOTTE -- Body Worlds peels back the skin of our human selves to reveal the nakedness of what we truly are.
The anatomical exhibition of human bodies brings visitors face-to-face not only with their physical organs, but also with humanity's natural, or arguably unnatural, distaste for death. Body Worlds opened last Wednesday at the Discovery Place in Charlotte and will remain there until Oct. 28. The exhibit from Germany has already toured U.S. cities like Los Angeles, Chicago and St. Paul, Minn.
