Game has become the first UK high street retailer to offer video game downloads, and its rivals are set to follow. But they're not the only ones using the web to sell games
NMA revealed last week that Game was to become the first UK high street video game retailer to offer a full-game download service for PC users.
The company has been offering an online subscription service with partner Metaboli for the past six months, but has decided to extend to a full download service following positive feedback. The move will see games like the Championship Manager series, Colin McRae Dirt and Tomb Raider Legend available for download from #24.99.
