SUMMARY
In 1925, a printing department was integrated into the program of the Technical School of Montreal. Twelve years later, a binding workshop, founded and directed by Louis-Philippe Beaudoin, was added to the School's program. The Graphic Art School of Montreal was then created through the merging of those two departments in 1942. This paper will recall the global evolution of the apprenticeship of the printing workers from 1925 to 1971, when the School joins the Ahuntsic College.
