CALGARY, June 26 /CNW/ - First Calgary Petroleums Ltd. ("FCP" or the
"Company") announces the appointment of Mr. Charles Pitman as Chairman of the
Board of Directors of FCP with immediate effect. This appointment follows
confirmation of the election of Mr. Shane O'Leary as an executive director and
Mr. Keith Henry, Mr. Charles Pitman and Mr. Nick Zana as non-executive
directors at the Company's Annual Meeting of Shareholders held last week.
Mr. Pitman has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry,
