CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Premier healthcare alliance safely disposed of and recycled approximately 3 tons of computer equipment from its Charlotte-based corporate offices in February, demonstrating that its industry leadership position on e-waste begins at home.
Premier business offices safely disposed of and recycled the outdated equipment, including computer central processing units (CPUs), monitors, displays and scanners, as well as 650 pounds of other information technology (IT) equipment. The equipment was removed by CompuTel, a Charlotte-based green electronic equipment recycler.
