When I first received this volume of Principles and Practice of Sleep Medicine for review, I used it as a reference on 5 separate occasions within the first week. However, I found it interesting that my use of the book during that week was not for questions related to sleep disorders or somnopharmacology, but on topics that arose during our house staff rounds in the intensive care unit.
