The luxury hotel business in Beverly Hills will heat up later this year when two properties reopen, ending what has been a smooth two-year ride for the four other deluxe facilities.
Reopening of the famous Beverly Hills Hotel this summer and the renamed Lowell Hotel later in the year will boost the number of rooms available in the city's luxury hotel market by some 30 percent. The question then is whether there will be a commensurate 30 percent increase in business.
