Jun. 28--Kentucky Wesleyan College's creative writing program will get a boost this fall with the addition of a director, an add-on scholarship and a reading series that will bring at least one well-known author per year to campus.
Kelly Moffett, who has been a part-time faculty member for three years, is the new creative writing director.
"We've been wanting to do this for a while," academic dean Mike Fagan said. "We've had a creative writing emphasis in the English department for quite a while, but we've not had a full-time person to devote a lot of attention to it."
