Jun. 29--Flying this weekend? Don't panic, but you might want to bring a fat book and your own peanuts.
Not only do travelers face long lines and crowded planes, they may not get to where they want to go for a few days, racking up extra hotel, car rental and food bills.
Northwest Airlines passengers may face the biggest risk this weekend given the carrier's recent record of mounting cancellations. As many head out for an extended Fourth of July holiday, the airline's pilots are bumping up against June flying limits.
