Jun. 29--IN A PASTURE at the 55-acre Hobby Horse Ranch in Ruscombmanor Township, longhaired, dark-eyed Willow Earth Wolfbird stood amid some of her 30 four-legged friends -- appaloosas, paints, palominos, a mustang, quarter horses, Andalusians and even a mule -- as she explained her special affinity for animals.
Alternately in her hand or on her shoulder, a white dove named Peep or Wankan, which means "sacred," seemed bemused but content in her high human roost, as compared to a more frenetic Mohica, a white American Eskimo dog, running back and forth, barking at horses, nipping at blades of grass and finally sniffing a fresh pile ...
