South Australia's nurses and midwives were recognised for their exceptional contribution to the profession and the community at an awards presentation held during International Midwives and International Nurses days in May.
The Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Awards were presented to midwives, enrolled nurses and registered nurses, rewarding achievement in eleven categories for Clinical Practice Leadership, Future Leader, Education, Aboriginal Health Care and the Australian Defence Force Nursing Reservist.
