Jun. 30--Although the plants and trees are small in size, the art of bonsai takes volumes of care and attention from cultivators.
For Dave Bogan, the love of bonsai began more than 20 years ago and has brought him a greenhouse full of more than 200 bonsai trees and plants.
"Quite honestly, it takes a love of plants and nature," said Bogan, who heads the Greater Evansville Bonsai Society. "It just becomes very addictive. ... It doesn't take patience to do something you love."
