Jun. 30--WILKES-BARRE -- A Hunlock Township man was arrested Thursday afternoon as he attempted to sell stolen golf clubs worth $3,000 at a pawn shop near Public Square.
The golf clubs, police say, linked Jesse James Hartman, 20, to a burglary 12 hours earlier at a home on South Hancock Street.
Police said nearly $8,000 in cellular telephones, $400 in phone accessories and the golf clubs were stolen from the residence just after midnight.
Hartman was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft and receiving stolen property. He was arraigned before District Judge Paul Hadzick and jailed at the Luzerne County ...
