ASHBURNHAM - The Ashburnham-Westminster School Committee voted recently to give Superintendent Michael X. Zapantis an "outstanding" evaluation and merit raise.
The evaluation rating, which was approved unanimously, was the highest since his tenure with the school district. He received an outstanding rating with a score of 333 out of 369 possible points resulting in a 5 percent merit pay increase, which is approximately $6,000.
