Jul. 1--Thaddeus Young had a curfew that extended past midnight when he was in high school in Memphis, Tenn.
But don't think the 76ers' first-round draft pick (12th overall) was out doing something wrong.
Quite the contrary.
Young, who turned 19 on June 21, could be found in the gymnasium of Mitchell High School, sometimes as late as 3 a.m.
"I would go in there and shoot, work on ballhandling," Young said. "We had our own key cards. Our coach in high school, he would come to the gym if I had done something wrong in practice that day.
