Jul. 1--'Tis the season for that most basic of childhood business opportunities: the lemonade stand.
Pueblo girls Brianna Lave and her friend Josephine Joles can tell you all about it, having run their own lemonade stand a few times now at the corner of Abriendo and Summit avenues.
Lave, 11, and Joles, 10, said they decided to open their stand last week (and again this weekend and next week, hint hint) for a couple of reasons.
"We were, like, so bored because we didn't have anything to do that day," Lave said. "We were just sitting outside. We were getting hot, so she (Josephine) said she wanted to do a lemonade ...
