UXBRIDGE - Renee Dumont cried the first time she saw Isaiah.
The husky weighed 40 pounds, half his ideal size.
"I was in tears," she said. "How could somebody own an animal like that and watch it die and not care?"
She adopted Isaiah, who had been rescued from his previous situation by Angels of the Snow, a nonprofit organization based in Eastham that finds loving homes for Siberian husky dogs that are stray, abandoned, abused, or otherwise homeless.
Ms. Dumont fell in love instantly with Isaiah. The dog took a little more time to return the favor.
