Jul. 2--A full hour of continuous fireworks sponsored by the owner of Brewco Motorsports will ignite the sky over Powderly on July Fourth.
But the mayors of Muhlenberg County's two largest cities -- Central City and Greenville -- hope spectators view something even more astonishing.
"We've kicked the door down between Greenville and Central City, and all the communities in Muhlenberg County," Greenville Mayor Eddie DeArmond said. "We're working on projects together to upgrade our county and lift the morale of the people."
This will be the first time Central City and Greenville have held a Fourth of July event ...
