NEW YORK - Tiffany & Co. is showing its commitment to downtown New York.
Last week, the luxury retailer announced that it will award grants to three environmental organizations-The Battery Conservancy, National Parks of New York Harbor Conservancy and Friends of the High Line-of $1 million each.
The funds will be used to revitalize parks and the waterfront of lower Manhattan where Tiffany is preparing to open a store at 37 Wall Street this fall.
In a press conference announcing the grants last week, Fernanda Kellogg, president of The Tiffany & Co. Foundation, said the store is seeking to be "at the forefront ...
