DALLAS--Curtis Mathes, Done of the country's oldest brands in home entertainment, has embarked on a new era following months of change after its purchase by Enhanced Electronics in November 1993.
Pat Custer, chairman of Curtis Mathes Holding Corp.--the new corporate name--said management has spent several months improving the operations of die company. The changes involved improving performance in the area of quality control; clearing up back orders in warranty claims which had totalled 5,000 and which have been reduced to under 400, and developing better cosmetics for the product lines of the company.
