Jun. 29--The corporate world isn't ready to pounce on Apple's iPhone, unlike consumers who began lining up outside stores earlier this week to snap up the pricey devices when they go on sale this evening.
The phones lack security features and don't sync with Microsoft Exchange or Lotus Notes, popular products that manage internal e-mail systems, calendars and other business applications, said Aaron Lee, information projects manager at the Utah Technology Council.
"When you look at the features in an iPhone, it's not really a business device. It's a personal device," Lee said.
