Record Monthly Volume for NYBOT Tops 6 Million Contracts
ATLANTA, July 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- IntercontinentalExchange , the leading electronic energy marketplace and soft commodity exchange, today reported strong growth in volume and commissions across all of its business segments during the month of June and for the second quarter. For the month, average daily volume (ADV) for ICE Futures, ICE's U.K. regulated futures subsidiary, was 525,890 contracts, an increase of 49.0% over ADV in June 2006.
