Dear Dr. Cory:
Why do you get blisters when you swing on the monkey bars for a long time?
KK

Dear KK:
You get blisters when something (like a monkey bar) rubs too much against your skin and causes tiny blood vessels to leak fluid. The blister acts like a pillow to protect damaged skin while it repairs itself.
