Detroit, Mich. -- There was a time - like a couple of months ago - when lefthanded starters had a big advantage against the Twins. Twins hitters have looked like Superman swinging at kryptonite against the likes of lefthanders Jorge De La Rosa, John Danks, Odalis Perez and others.
Lefties have become less lethal lately, and the Twins whipped another one in Tigers starter Andrew Miller while winning 8-5 Saturday at Comerica Park, showing that they are going to hang around in the AL Central race for awhile.
