Jul. 3--OGDENSBURG -- The kosher cheese plant on Main Street has a new name and management team.
Plant Director of Operations Kevin S. McAllister declined Monday to discuss specifics of the change. The plant employs about 60 full-time workers.
A sign at the main entrance reads: "Effective July 2, 2007. We are under new management and have a new phone number. Our new name is: North Country Manufacturing. Our new phone number is: 315-393-6545."
St. Lawrence Food Corp. operates the Primo Foods kosher plant at 30 Main St. The plant is affiliated with Lewis County Dairy Corp., Lowville, and Ahava Foods Corp., ...
